PRINT ISSUE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions for our print issues are currently closed.

We accept:

  • Non-fiction articles

  • Photography

  • Poetry

  • Journal entries

  • Short stories

  • Editorials

  • Collages

  • Paintings

  • Drawings

Want to submit something different than previously listed? 

We are open to other creative submissions, such as playlists, recipes, reviews, or anything else you’d like. 

 

How to submit?

Email all submissions to saturdazemagazine@gmail.com . Note that we do not take submissions via Instagram DM. If you’d like to submit for our print issue, please include your name, pronouns, your Instagram handle, title of the work, and of course your submission. 

 

Important Information: 

All submissions must be original and unpublished. Your submission can not be featured in another publication with the exception of your portfolio or personal/business Instagram. If submitting a collaborative project, all people involved in the makings of the work gave consent to the work being submitted. And lastly, by submitting, you understand that you are keeping the rights to your work but are allowing and consenting Saturdaze Magazine to use, publish, sell, and distribute your work. INSTAGRAM/WEBSITE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions for our Instagram and website are always open!

How to submit:

*Pitching Articles:

 

If you can’t commit to being a writer on our team- no worries! You can pitch an article idea and get your work featured on our website anyways. You may pitch an article idea to us by emailing saturdazemagazine@gmail.com. Be sure to write “(your name)- web article pitch” in the subject of the email. In the body of the email please include your full name, pronouns, and Instagram handle. 

 

Please note that we are currently only accepting article pitches if the article fits under the following categories: personal essays, fashion & beauty, love & relationships, identity, activism, music, or film. You may submit poetry to our website, but it does not require a pitch. 

 

Here’s how to pitch an article… 

 

In the body of your email write us a short pitch (1-2 paragraphs) about your concept or idea. Your concept should consist of a possible title, your concept, and how long you think it will take you to write. We’ll try to get back to you about your article within the week! We’ll either approve your pitch or modify it.
